Shameem Malik is the founding member of Anisa Training and Consultancy, which began life in 2002. She has a rich and varied background, she trained as a lawyer, as a teacher and pursued post graduate study and research in the areas of Human Rights and Family Law. Her teaching experience has ranged from secondary schools, colleges, university and adult education. She has worked at local, regional and national level: in the voluntary sector, in local government as an Equal Opportunities Officer and for National Women's Aid as a freelance trainer. Her most recent role was as Head of Equal Opportunities for Connexions Service National Unit, DfES.
